Food donations are crucial to enabling the Storehouse to continue providing meals to nearly 50,000 New Mexicans per year. You can host a food drive – it’s easy!

Over the holiday season, the Storehouse had over 50 local organizations host food drives to benefit the families we serve. Last year, over 13,000 pounds of food was collected from local schools, businesses, apartment complexes, and organizations during the holiday season. This was enough to provide almost 11,000 meals to families who depend on it!

Food donations from people like you regularly provide over 2.9 million meals a year.

Canned goods are helpful, but other great things to collect are baby food, protein sources like canned chicken or tuna, peanut butter, dry goods like oatmeal or pasta, and any shelf stable foods. You and your group can also donate funds that allow us to buy groceries wholesale and maximize your contributions.

If you would like us to bring bins to your locations or host your own food drive, contact CarrieAnn at (505) 842-6491 or You can also do collections on your own and drop them off at our fixed pantry site on Central Wednesday through Saturday during our operations hours.

Many Storehouse volunteers spearhead food and fund drives after spending time at the pantry. We invite you to visit the Storehouse to see firsthand how your group is helping to make a difference in the lives of hungry New Mexicans. Please contact Annam at, if you would like a tour of the state’s largest food pantry.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Your partnership enables the Storehouse to feed even more people in New Mexico whose lives depend on it. Contact us to see how you can help the Storehouse and the people we serve.
