Storehouse New Mexico is one of New Mexico’s largest food pantries. Our mission is fighting hunger in our community — work we’ve been doing since the late 70’s. We offer FREE groceries to people in need. Many families fall in a gap we refer to as the ‘working poor.’ They earn too much to get SNAP (formerly food stamps), but a major car repair, medical bill, or reduced hours at work can have them wondering where their next meal might come from.

New Mexico ranks among the worst in the nation for hunger, for both children and adults. With your support, we are able to feed approximately 55,000 people a year who come to our pantry for food.

Join us for Bowls of Food & Fun!

Saturday, September 28, 2024 • 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
St. John’s United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona Street NE

Empty Bowls is a grassroots event where local artists donate bowls, local restaurants donate food, and attendees get both — all in an effort to fight hunger. The Storehouse is honored to benefit from this event again this year.

Each $35 ticket includes a bowl, soup, bread, dessert, and a drink. Additional donations are welcome and appreciated.

Host a Food Drive or Fundraiser

The Storehouse appreciates and counts on organizations that help us collect food. We only purchase about 6% of the food we distribute, so food donations are key to our pantry operation. A food drive can be a fun, team-building experience for everyone involved, for businesses as well as faith organizations or schools.

The Storehouse can deliver our containers to your location or you can use your own boxes and bring them to the food pantry. For more information email us at info@StorehouseNM.org or call our main number below.

You can host a virtual food drive/fundraiser too!
